Colgate-Palmolive Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Team Lead to support LCL Enterprises! This person will deliver quarterly and annual business results, while managing, engaging and driving profitable growth at LCL Enterprises. As the direct liaison between Colgate-Palmolive Canada and LCL Enterprises, the Senior Team Lead will monitor customer planning and spending processes, so all sales, average selling price, and margin goals are met, while ensuring acceptable return on investment. The Senior Team Lead will also oversee and manage a team of cross-functional category team leads to deliver on strategic priorities. What you will do:
Core responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Customer Development, Customer Marketing and Supply Chain activities to develop cost effective programs

  • Ensure to monitor the execution of new item launches including distribution, assortment management, speed-to-shelf, pricing, placement, and trial generating support

  • Retail: Convert brand/promotional strategies into excellent in store merchandising execution


Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Respond to Customer Requests in a timely manner and as per established deadlines

  • Establish and follow Customer touch point calendars to ensure continuous engagement

  • Liaise with CP Customer Managers / RCD team and discuss comments and feedback from the Field

  • Store visits to ensure that CP products are well merchandised and available to shoppers

  • Address and respond to daily requests from other functions

Leadership and supervisory responsibilities

  • Lead and interact with a cross-functional category team including category management, supply chain, shipper marketing, and finance in delivering the strategic priorities

  • Coach and lead Customer Managers / RCD team in identifying opportunities to drive profitable sales growth, market share growth, maximize financial return and optimal retail 5P execution


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related area of study

  • 10+ years of Customer Management, Marketing or Business Finance experience

  • 3+ years of Supervisory experience

  • 3+ years of Consumer Goods Industry experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Functional experience
