Description:

Reporting to the Sales Director - East , the Provincial Sales Manager will, within the assigned sales province, represent our company and grow Sleeman Breweries' portfolio presence in the trade. Lead the execution of all sales related activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for three District Managers and one Team Lead. This is a hybrid role, two days in the office per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve provincial sales volume, revenue, and share growth targets
  • Provide direction and leadership to provincial field sales team
  • Lead performance management of the field sales team (i.e. coaching, succession planning, development)
  • Provide input to develop and lead the execution of strategic plans for the province; recommend plan changes to ensure the region remains on track to achieve targets
  • Establish strong working relationships with key provincial customers
  • Manage provincial sales expenses within established budget and implement MUDA reductions
  • Work collaboratively with regional Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and HR leadership to ensure the region remains on track to deliver execution objectives
  • Remain apprised of industry trends and changes to the competitive environment
  • Report on regional performance results and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ensure all work performed by team is in compliance with applicable legislation
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, including at least 3 years in a sales management role
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Experience developing and executing annual sales plans
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal; strong presentation skills
  • Computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Beverage alcohol industry experience is an asset
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Working Conditions:

  • Travel required, spend minimum 2 days in the trade per week coaching staff and attending meetings

Relevant de la directrice principale des ventes pour l'est, le ou la directeur-trice provincial·e des ventes représente l'entreprise et fait progresser la présence du portefeuille des Brasseries Sleeman sur le marché, au sein de la province assignée. Gérer l'exécution des activités commerciales du territoire. Le ou la candidat·e retenu·e aura trois directeurs régionaux des ventes et un chef d'équipe sous sa responsabilité. Il s'agit d'un poste hybride; deux jours par semaine à partir du bureau.

Responsabilités:

  • Atteindre les objectifs en matière de volume, de revenus et de croissance des parts de marché;
  • Assurer encadrement et leadership pour l'équipe provinciale des ventes ;
  • Assumer la gestion du rendement de l'équipe des ventes (c'est-à-dire accompagnement, planification de la relève et perfectionnement);
  • Collaborer à l'élaboration des plans stratégiques pour la province et en diriger la mise en œuvre; recommander des modifications à ces plans afin que la région demeure en bonne voie d'atteindre ses objectifs;
  • Établir de bonnes relations d'affaires avec les clients provinciaux clé;
  • Gérer les dépenses commerciales de la province selon le budget établi et mettre en œuvre les réductions MUDA;
  • Travailler en collaboration avec la direction des services régionaux du marketing, des ventes, de la chaîne d'approvisionnement et des RH pour veiller à ce que la région demeure en bonne voie d'atteindre ses objectifs d'exécution;
  • Demeurer à l'affût des tendances de l'industrie et des changements subis par l'environnement concurrentiel;
  • Rendre compte des résultats régionaux en matière de rendement et cerner les occasions d'amélioration continue;
  • Veiller à ce que tout le travail réalisé par l'équipe soit conforme aux lois applicables;
  • Effectuer les autres tâches connexes requises.

Exigences:

  • Au moins 7 ans d'expérience de la vente dans un environnement de biens de consommation, dont au moins 3 ans d'expérience de gestion d'une équipe de vente;
  • Études postsecondaires dans un domaine connexe;
  • Expérience dans l'élaboration et l'exécution de plans de ventes annuels.
  • Bonne capacité à établir de solides liens professionnels, tant à l'interne qu'à l'externe.
  • Capacité à communiquer efficacement, à la fois de façon écrite et verbale; excellente aptitude de présentation;
  • Compétences informatiques et capacité à utiliser Microsoft Office;
  • De l'expérience dans l'industrie des boissons alcoolisées serait considérée comme un atout;
  • Permis de conduire valide et dossier de conduite impeccable.

Conditions de travail:

  • Des déplacements sont requis; consacrer au moins deux jours par semaine sur le marché pour encadrer le personnel et assister à des réunions.
