Salary: $54,000 - $60,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Donor Retention/ Customer Service

  1. Respond promptly and professionally to donors inquiries via various channels, including phone calls, emails.
  2. Strive to meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics, including response time and donor satisfaction ratings
  3. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Marketing, Finance, Technical Support, and Fundraising, to respond to donors' inquiries and requests, provide timely resolutions, and ensure a seamless donor experience.
  4. Contribute to various campaigns through processing donations on different platforms

Report Writing and Data Management

  1. Conduct research and analysis on projects from available data provided.
  2. Compile and synthesize data from field offices reports and projects documentation.
  3. Draft clear and concise reports on the progress, impact, and challenges of projects.
  4. Ensure reports adhere to Islamic Relief Canada's standards and guidelines.
  5. Organize and maintain project-related data and documentation.
  6. Collaborate with the Donor Care team to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience related to customer service and data management
  • Post-Secondary Education; University degree preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is an asset
  • Proficiency with Gmail and select add-ons (mail merge)
  • Proficient (oral and written) in English and French (preferably)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style and voice of our organization's various types of content
  • Ability to cut the complexity and present clear, concise, and friendly language
  • Ability to maintain high level of attention to detail and consistency in language Strong work ethic with excellent organizational skills to work independently and collaboratively
  • Is able to prioritize and reprioritize to meet donor needs, stay organized and meet deadlines as set
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to assess donors' needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Patience, empathy, and a donor-centric mindset to handle challenging or upset donors with professionalism and composure.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-oriented approach to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Manages to balance accuracy and efficiency of work, and meet deadlines while multitasking
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Available to work flexible hours, additional as required
  • Motivated self-starter who is able to take both guidance and initiative, as well as learn and grow
