Position Summary

Driven by purpose, values, innovation, and a commitment to building a future we can all trust, the Cyber Digital Solutions (CDS) North America (NORAM) business line seeks to bring cybersecurity globally to mission critical systems.

Reporting to the Director Sales CDS NORAM, Thales requires a Capture and Customer Satisfaction Lead CDS NORAM. As a Capture and Customer Satisfaction Lead, you will be responsible for building and submitting winning proposals and closing sales deals aligned with the CDS NORAM sales strategy. Possessing a proven track record in sales, you adeptly translate business development opportunities into customer-focused sales with a focus on establishing strong customer relationships, cultivating trust, and delivering quality services.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Build winning proposals for qualified business development leads.
  • Proactively build and maintain key client relationships with a view to meet sales and growth targets.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring alignment with Thales' objectives and CDS NORAM business targets.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate sales performance.
  • Remain abreast of cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics, all with a view to improve sales objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the CDS NORAM team to manage a targeted sales pipeline, converting business leads into satisfied customers. Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and support teams to create compliant proposals and to ensure customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field of study (business, leadership) or an equivalent level of experience.
  • 2+ years experience in cybersecurity or technology sales.
  • Previous experience in business development and capture management.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of the cybersecurity market, with an ability to communicate and simplify complex technical concepts to a larger audience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a dynamic matrix organizational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to the iterative refinement of the business development pipeline and sales strategy.

Special Position Requirements

Schedule: Core business hours Monday-Friday; eight-hour work-day.

Physical Environment: Access to R&D facilities, cyber-ranges, and Cyber Security Operations Centres.

Travel: Travel required in supported of customer requirements and sales opportunities, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Travel expected 25% of time.

Customer Location Based or Site Visits: While based in Fredericton NB, travel will be required to customer location.
