We're specifically looking for professionals with automotive aftermarket sales experience who know how to turn conversations into sales, build customer relationships, and consistently generate new business through outbound calling. WHAT DRIVES US Founded in 1997, The Wheel Group is a leading designer, developer, and owner of aftermarket automotive wheel, tire, and accessory brands, with a focus on quality, innovation, and performance. Headquartered in Ontario, California, with 15 distribution centers throughout the U.S. and Canada and a QC, engineering, and support services office in Shanghai, China, TWG serves customers across North America and globally. TAKING THE WHEEL As a Sales Account Manager, you'll take ownership of an assigned book of business while actively creating new opportunities through consistent outbound sales activity. You'll work with existing, prospective, and inactive customers to strengthen relationships, re-engage business, and expand TWG's presence within your territory. This is a high-volume, phone-driven sales role — not a customer service or order-taking position. You'll spend most of your day making outbound calls, prospecting new customers, following up on opportunities, and turning conversations into revenue. You'll also serve as a trusted product resource, helping customers identify the right wheels, tires, and accessories based on fitment, style, and application while working closely with internal teams to support profitable growth. HOW YOU'LL DRIVE GROWTH Make a high volume of outbound sales calls to existing, prospective, and inactive customers to generate business and grow your territory. Manage and develop an assigned book of business while continuously identifying opportunities to increase revenue. Prospect and develop new customers through cold calling, referrals, and consistent outbound outreach. Re-engage inactive accounts and identify opportunities to bring customers back to TWG. Build strong customer relationships through consistent communication, follow-up, and account support. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell wheels, tires, accessories, and other TWG products. Serve as a product resource by recommending solutions based on wheel fitment, application, and style. Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer interactions, opportunities, quotes, follow-ups, and account activity. Monitor sales performance and customer activity to identify opportunities for additional account growth. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to support customer needs and resolve issues. Negotiate pricing and make informed sales decisions while maintaining awareness of product margins and profitability. Support accounts receivable activities and assist with resolving customer account issues as needed. Maintain a consistent sales pipeline and follow-up cadence to support individual and team sales goals. This job description details essential functions. Duties and responsibilities may be assigned and reassigned at any time and/or modified as directed by your direct supervisor and company leadership. Comfortable spending the majority of the day making high-volume outbound sales calls. Experience prospecting, cold calling, re-engaging customers, and developing new business. Proven ability to grow and manage an existing book of business. Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to manage multiple customer accounts while maintaining consistent follow-up and sales activity. Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or a similar platform. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and recommend wheel, tire, and accessory solutions. Self-motivated, organized, and driven to achieve individual and team sales goals.
