What You’ll Do: * Grow your territory by identifying and pursuing new customer opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship development. * Build a loyal customer base and become a trusted partner for customers' foodservice equipment needs. * Use product knowledge and curiosity to recommend solutions solutions that help customers' businesses thrive. * Meet and exceed sales and profitability targets by actively managing your pipeline, tracking progress, and staying focused on the right activities. * Use internal systems to create quotes, enter orders, follow up on shipments, and support a smooth customer experience. * Partner with internal teams (including Operations and Finance) to support account health and ensure customer accounts remain in good standing. * Maintain strong relationships and follow-through to support repeat business and long-term partnerships. Where You'll Work Your day-to-day will primarily involve meeting new and existing customers at their place of business throughout your designated territory. This role requires regular travel within the territory. What You Bring Education and Experience: * A university degree or college diploma is preferred (e.g., business, marketing, hospitality, or related field), or equivalent experience * 2 + years of sales experience in a similar industry, with a proven track record of results and customer focus. * Or, several years of experience working in restaurants/hospitality with strong knowledge of equipment and operations * Experience in foodservice, hospitality, equipment, distribution sales, or a related industry is considered an asset Skills and Abilities * Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-first mindset * Resilient, optimistic, and professional — able to navigate challenges with a solutions-focused approach * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Comfortable with technology and proficient in tools like Microsoft Office; able to learn new systems quickly * Self-motivated and organized with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently * Collaborative and team-oriented; able to build strong internal relationships to support customer success * Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and follows through * Analytical and confident in decision-making, aligned with our values of respect, integrity, and accountability * Results-oriented and motivated by achieving (and exceeding) goals * A reliable vehicle and the ability to travel within the designated territory Our Commitment to Inclusion Russell Hendrix welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
