The history of NAOS began in 1977 when Jean-Noël Thorel, a pharmacist-biologist, opened the way to active cosmetics by integrating biology into skincare. NAOS is the founding company of 3 dermo-cosmetic brands BIODERMA, INSTITUT ESTHEDERM and ETAT PUR, which share a unique scientific approach: Ecobiology, the union of ecosystem and skin biology.
