Sales Director - National and International

Under the responsibility of the President of Trévi Fabrication, the Sales Director for national and international markets has the primary mandate to supervise, coach, and motivate the sales team to ensure the growth of sales for the manufacturing entities, Trévi Fabrication, Lacus Innovations, and Dynasty Spas. They must implement sales strategies to develop new markets, establish new partnership agreements, and maintain business relationships with current partners.

YOUR ROLE

  • Establish annual sales budgets in collaboration with general management and the president.
  • Set annual objectives related to new territories to be approached and new partners to be targeted.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve objectives.
  • Establish the optimal sales structure to meet established objectives.
  • Manage and coach the sales team.
  • Develop strategies to highlight the company and the products it manufactures to its business partners.
  • Propose suggestions to the general management team regarding the product offering to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with general management to establish sales price structures.
  • Coordinate participation in various trade shows at both national and international levels.
  • Develop programs and strategies to retain current business partners and promote organic growth.
  • Analyze the market and conduct market studies to understand market trends and adjust internal strategies accordingly.
  • Visit business partners.
  • Use their professional network to create business opportunities, exchange ideas, or resolve issues.
  • Develop technical expertise in design, manufacturing, and use of pool and spa products to increase credibility with business partners.

REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRED PROFILE

  • Hold a university degree or equivalent training.
  • Be able to travel frequently at regional, national, and international levels (approximately 15-25% of the time).
  • Have solid sales experience in the manufacturing sector or in the pool or spa industry, as well as team management experience.
  • Be able to build and implement sales structures and strategies.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Have a vast professional network.
  • Bilingualism is imperative - mastery of French and English both orally and in writing, as the development of new markets requires the use of English.
  • Master all applications of the Microsoft Office suite.
