We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager (AM) to lead our relationship with the City of Toronto and its affiliated agencies. In this role, you will drive both business development and project execution, supporting project managers, fostering cross-business line collaboration, promoting resource sharing, and securing new opportunities. Your leadership will be central to strengthening Stantec’s presence in Toronto by consistently delivering innovative, high‑quality solutions that surpass client expectations. Your Key Responsibilities You will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to advance our Win, Do, Manage, Grow pillars across Stantec’s business lines (Water, Infrastructure, Buildings, Environmental Services, and Energy and Resources) for the City of Toronto account. Leadership Build and select account team members aligned with integrated client opportunities. Coach and empower the Account Management team to deliver value and engage the client. Lead and facilitate regular account team meetings. Foster accountability, collaboration, and engagement across the City of Toronto account team. Develop, maintain, and regularly update the account plan. Coach and mentor emerging account managers and team members to support their growth. Collaborate with business development and project delivery teams. Business Development Grow and manage City of Toronto account portfolio through strong relationships, trust and understanding. Conduct on-going discovery to anticipate and respond to evolving client needs. Communicate and collaborate across teams to enable exceptional service delivery and business management. Identify cross-selling opportunities within and beyond Stantec’s current business lines. Monitor and pursue upcoming master service agreements to support business growth. Implementation Contribute to proposal development to ensure a comprehensive understanding of client needs and expectations. Support project delivery teams. Work closely with pursuit teams and marketers to maintain alignment with account strategy. Maintain strong internal and external communication to ensure quality, consistency, and closed-loop feedback. Regularly update Pipeline and associated activities. Negotiate terms and conditions that support profitable and high-quality project delivery. Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week. Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, science, or a related field, along with a minimum of fifteen years of related experience or an equivalent combination. Essential qualifications include established relationships with the City of Toronto and strong knowledge of its procurement processes, policies, and regulations.
