These comprehensive offerings are supported by professional off-site monitoring and dedicated customer service, creating reliable, future-ready solutions for modern residential and mixed-use properties. Role Description The Account Executive, Integrated Security Systems, is a full-time, on-site position based in Vancouver, BC. The role involves prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with developers, general contractors, and property managers, and managing a sales pipeline for integrated security and building technology solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting discovery meetings, preparing proposals and quotes, participating in bid and tender processes, and presenting solutions featuring access control, CCTV, intercom, smart locks, and related systems. The Account Executive will work closely with design, project management, and technical teams to ensure accurate scopes of work, smooth project handoffs, and high-quality delivery. The role also includes ongoing account management, monitoring market trends, attending industry events, and providing regular sales reports and forecasts. Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building with developers, contractors, and property managers. Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to access control, CCTV, intercom, smart locks, networking, and integrated building platforms. Competence in preparing proposals, estimating project costs at a high level, managing pipelines, and using CRM tools effectively. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across sales, design, and installation teams. Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Comfort working on-site and attending client meetings across the Greater Vancouver area; valid driver’s license is an asset. Post-secondary education in business, marketing, technology, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience is also valued. Pay Range Expected annual earnings are $115,000 to $120,000, combining base salary, OTE sales commission, and car allowance. This estimate assumes approximately three closed deals annually. Commission varies with deal value and the applicable commission structure. Your base salary will reflect your experience and qualifications, while total earnings will depend on your sales results. What We Offer Competitive base salary with performance-based commission. Extended health, dental, and vision coverage. Company RRSP matching. Paid time off and a Monday-to-Friday schedule.
