This design-focused role works with architects, interior designers, dealers, contractors, and OEMs to introduce innovative materials and influence product specifications. The ideal candidate has strong A&D relationships, understands the industry’s key decision-makers, and brings a true hunter mentality with proven business development and closing skills. Territory: Province of Quebec (candidate must reside in the Greater MTL area) Workplace: Home office & Office available on the south shore of MTL Products/Services: Manufacturer of premium textile Salary: Base starting at $90,000 Commissions/Bonus: 15% yearly bonus based on sales targets & objective. Deliver in-person and virtual presentations, CEUs, and educational sessions; maintain strong presence with corporate, institutional, and public-sector clients. Build and manage pipeline in CRM, protect specifications, and execute territory strategy across Greater Montreal, Quebec City, and regional hubs. Develop OEM and manufacturer relationships; maintain samples and acoustic tools in showrooms and libraries. Participate in industry events; monitor trends and competitors; collaborate with internal teams on pricing, orders, and customer support. Requirements: Development vs Maintenance: 70% vs 30% Road vs Office: 80% vs 20% Languages: Fluent in English and French (bilingual) Education: Post-secondary education Training: On-the-job training provided, including support and shadowing to ensure success in the role. Overnight Travel: 2 to 3 days per month. Years of experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Architecture & Design (A&D) industry.
