Job summary
Territory Sales - Medical devices and supplies Kelowna - based remotely, you will work from your home, your vehicle, your hotel room and your clients offices. MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our medical distribution client to recruit a Field Sales Consultant to grow and develop a territory across the Thompson / Okanagan / Interior / North. This role is focused on driving new business development while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing healthcare customers through consultative, relationship-driven selling. The majority of your time will be spent in the major population centres. Some of what you will do in this role includes: Manage and grow a defined medical sales territory with a focus on increasing market share and customer engagement Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within clinics, healthcare facilities, and medical practices Conduct in-person sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings throughout the territory Develop and execute territory sales plans and account strategies aligned with revenue objectives Build strong long-term customer relationships through responsive service and consultative support Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and support implementation of customer solutions Leverage CRM systems to maintain pipeline activity, customer information, and forecasting accuracy Participate in industry events, educational sessions, seminars, and trade shows to drive awareness and business development Monitor market activity, customer trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities Collaborate with internal branch, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction You should have the following in your background to apply: 2-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within healthcare, medical, dental, distribution, or adjacent industries Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business within a territory-based environment Strong consultative selling and presentation skills Self-driven, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in the field Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools Strong business acumen with the ability to manage priorities and territory planning effectively Post-secondary education in business, healthcare, or a related field considered an asset Medical industry experience is considered an asset but not required What's in it for you: Opportunity to join a respected and growing organization within the healthcare distribution space Established territory with strong growth potential Entrepreneurial field sales environment with autonomy and support Competitive compensation package including base salary, incentive plan, vehicle support, and benefits Long-term career growth opportunities within a national organization This is a performance based compensation program: $75,000-$80,000 base + commission + car allowance, benefits etc. If this sounds like a role where you could excel, please apply.
