National Key Account Manager We are scaling our team to meet growing demand and are looking for an Account Manager to fill a new vacancy to help grow our business with Canada’s largest retailers. In this position, you will manage all aspects of the relationship and drive profitable growth through business planning, maximizing shelf presence, strategic negotiations, and best-in-class execution. Key Responsibilities: Account Leadership: Own and manage, ensuring delivery of sales, profitability, and share objectives. Business Planning: Regular business planning with retailers, including promotional planning, assortment strategies, and long-term growth initiatives. Customer Relationship Management: Provide customer excellence by building trusted partnerships with retail buyers and key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact. Data & Insights: Leverage POS data, syndicated data, and internal reporting tools to drive insights, identify opportunities, and recommend actions to improve performance. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Category Management, to ensure flawless execution and alignment with retailer needs. Champion internal communication on customer needs, opportunities, and challenges Promotional Management: Lead the planning, execution, and post-analysis of promotions and merchandising events to maximize ROI. Issue Resolution: Act as the escalation point to resolve operational or service issues quickly and efficiently. Qualifications: · 3+ years of account management experience within CPG OTC / HABA · Direct experience with top Canadian retailers · Post-secondary marketing/sales or business degree · Proven track record of managing national accounts · Effective negotiation and analytical skills · Strong communication skills both verbal and written. · Exceptional leadership & interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset · Attention to detail, excellent project management & organizational skills. · Project management skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point.
