This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Development Representative (Nordics) based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to become a key first point of contact for prospective clients across the Nordic market. You will identify potential customers, initiate meaningful conversations, and turn early interest into qualified sales opportunities. Working closely with Account Executives, Sales, and Marketing, you will contribute directly to pipeline development and go-to-market growth. You will use discovery skills to understand customer challenges and communicate relevant solutions with confidence. Your insights will also help shape messaging, product positioning, and sales processes. This is a fully remote opportunity for a proactive sales professional who enjoys international collaboration and building relationships across markets. \n Accountabilities: As a Business Development Representative, you will own the early stages of the sales process, from prospecting and outreach to qualification and meeting generation. You will combine structured sales activity with thoughtful discovery, while partnering closely with internal teams to continuously improve prospect engagement and commercial processes. Identify and contact potential clients through outbound phone calls and targeted emails. Research prospects and identify relevant business opportunities within the Nordic markets. Initiate conversations with prospective customers and generate interest in the solutions offered. Schedule qualified meetings and calls between prospective clients and Account Executives. Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to understand prospects' business challenges, needs, and priorities. Present relevant solutions and communicate the value proposition clearly to potential clients. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute lead-generation strategies. Share prospect insights and market feedback with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership. Contribute ideas that improve product positioning, messaging, and communication with prospects and customers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities in HubSpot. Report on the progress and outcomes of your assigned opportunities through the CRM. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and communication workflows. Take ownership of targets, activity levels, and the quality of generated opportunities. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a confident and curious sales professional with hands-on outbound experience and a strong ability to start conversations with prospective customers. You should be comfortable working toward measurable goals, asking thoughtful discovery questions, and operating independently in a fully remote, international environment. At least 2 years of experience in outbound sales, preferably within a SaaS environment. Proven ability to pitch products or solutions confidently to prospective customers. Professional proficiency in at least one Nordic language: Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities. Strong discovery and questioning skills, with the ability to understand customer needs in depth. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Good understanding of technology and modern sales tools. Experience using HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms. Strong interest in remote work and the future of distributed working environments. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Willingness to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Product, and leadership teams. Strong sense of ownership and commitment to continuously improving processes and communication. Adaptability and ability to manage priorities effectively in a remote setting.
