About the Opportunity We're looking for a Key Account Manager to support one of our largest and most important client relationships.
This isn't your typical account management role. You'll partner with a large client network made up of multiple school entities, helping ensure a seamless experience for administrators, students, and stakeholders. From onboarding new schools to analyzing data trends and leading strategic projects, you'll play a critical role in shaping the client experience and driving long-term success. If you enjoy managing complex accounts, working with data, presenting to clients, and collaborating across teams, this role offers plenty of variety, ownership, and growth opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing Build Strong Client Partnerships Serve as the primary point of contact for one of our key clients Develop trusted relationships with school administrators, brokers, and stakeholders Deliver exceptional service and ensure a positive client experience Support client retention and identify opportunities to improve service and program offerings Navigate complex account structures while maintaining consistency across multiple entities
Lead Onboarding & Implementation Support the successful launch of new schools and insured populations Coordinate with internal teams including underwriting, operations, and assistance services Create onboarding plans, timelines, and communication strategies Provide training and guidance on coverage, claims, and member services Help clients feel confident and supported throughout the implementation process
Turn Data into Actionable Insights Analyze claims data, utilization trends, and account performance Build reports, dashboards, and renewal presentations Identify trends and opportunities to improve outcomes for clients Ensure policy and eligibility data remains accurate and up to date Support renewal discussions with meaningful recommendations
Drive Projects & Continuous Improvement Contribute to strategic initiatives and new business solutions Collaborate across departments to enhance processes and service delivery Support product enhancements and digital transformation projects Help pilot and roll out new programs within the education and international student market
Present with Confidence Lead onboarding sessions, business reviews, and renewal meetings Translate complex insurance concepts into clear, easy-to-understand language Create polished presentations and client communications Represent MSH with professionalism and credibility
What You Bring Experience 3-5+ years of experience in account management, client services, insurance, or a related field Experience managing complex clients or multiple stakeholders Background in insurance, education, international student services, or global mobility is an asset Technical Skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Experience using Salesforce, Power BI, or similar CRM and reporting tools Knowledge of group benefits, international health insurance, or travel insurance is preferred Understanding of claims processes, policy structures, and underwriting principles is a plus
