About the role
Key Requirements: • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience • 10+ years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in the electric power systems industry • Strong relationships with Transmission, Distribution, and Generation Utilities • Experience selling protection relays, disturbance fault recorders, or related power system products • Proven success in complex technical sales and large account development • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills • Experience with channel partners and business development • Ability to travel up to 50%
Responsibilities: • Manage and grow existing utility and industrial customer accounts • Identify and develop new business opportunities • Drive product approvals and market penetration • Develop channel partner relationships • Meet regional sales and order booking targets • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences • Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales activity reports • Work closely with technical support and customer service teams
Preferred Background: • Protective relays, fault recorders, substation automation, power system protection, monitoring, or control systems • Utility industry sales experience • Strong technical understanding of secondary power system equipment
