Vetoquinol is a pharmaceutical company dedicated to the manufacturing, distribution and marketing of animal health products. We are looking for a Territory Manager, Companion Animals for Northern Alberta . This territory covers Northern Alberta, including Edmonton, Grande Prairie, and Fort McMurray, as well as Dawson Creek and Fort St. John in British Columbia.

The Territory Manager is a key member of the field sales team that promotes the products and the company with a customer centric approach. The Territory Manager is responsible for growing the business by providing support for the portfolio of products through interactions with the veterinary customers in their respective territory.

MAIN ACTIVITIES Sales Maximize the sale of Vetoquinol products and customer satisfaction on the territory by identifying opportunities through meeting with key decision makers to understand the customers practice structure, business model and needs. Use sales skills to uncover customer needs and goals, and align these with features and benefits of Vetoquinol solutions Develops strong relationships with customers, opinion leaders, and Operational Directors of National Key Accounts in the respective territory Personalized service and high quality support including diligent follow-up of customer requests. Implementation of the "Marketing Operational Plan". Presentations and technical description of the products and services offered by the company. Attend industry conferences and other customer events

Reporting, Analysis and Administration Contribute to the creation, maintenance and updating of the customer database for the territory Maintaining accurate and up to date records of meeting reports with n the customer relations management database. Provide accurate, complete and timely business information (competitive activities, market conditions, ideas, business opportunities) to the Sales and Marketing Department and other colleagues when information is deemed relevant. Perform regular analysis of sales results, variances, and trends, using available resources in order to identify opportunities and threats within the territory, segment and target the business effectively, and improve focus and effective management within the territory. Develop territory specific and customer specific plans and strategies for potential sales opportunities Completion of reports and administrative tasks as requested

PROFILE Technical degree in animal health science or university or (agronomy, biology, veterinary medicine, animal science, business) or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in field sales Experience in the Animal Health industry Functional English (spoken and written) Good knowledge of computer software and the Microsoft environment Results driven Interpersonal / Communication skills Organization and planning skills Resilience and ability to adapt to change Team work and collaboration

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF EXERCISE OF THE FUNCTION: 85% of the time on the road 15% of the time at the home office
