Role Description The Retail Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Cottage Chic in St Andrews, NB. This role involves greeting customers, answering questions, and providing attentive, customer-focused service throughout their visit. Daily responsibilities include processing sales at the register, handling cash and electronic payments, restocking shelves, maintaining clean and visually appealing displays, and supporting inventory management activities such as receiving shipments and organizing stock. The Retail Associate also helps share product information, supports store promotions, and collaborates with team members to ensure smooth store operations and an excellent customer experience. Qualifications Strong Interpersonal Skills and commitment to Customer-focused Service Ability to deliver a high-quality Customer Experience with clear, professional Communication Basic Inventory Management skills, including organizing stock and supporting restocking activities Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed Previous retail or customer-facing experience is an asset but not required Comfort using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card transactions Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
