About the role

Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment is seeking a Contract Sales Representative to join our Contracts team in Edmonton, Calgary, or Vancouver. This role is a sales-driven, industry-facing position responsible for generating new business, leading complex opportunities, and delivering high-impact foodservice solutions for our clients.

Leveraging deep foodservice industry knowledge and experience, you will act as a trusted advisor: identifying opportunities, guiding clients through the design and sales process, and driving projects from initial engagement through to close. Success in this role requires strong sales leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels.

What You’ll Do

  • Meet with prospective clients to assess needs, develop solutions, and support project costing
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and market analysis
  • Manage and grow large, multi‑unit, and contract-based accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and head office contacts
  • Lead and facilitate client meetings, including presentations and strategic discussions
  • Identify and close new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Develop pricing strategies, quotations, and contract negotiations to drive revenue growth
  • Achieve sales targets through solution-based selling and needs analysis
  • Collaborate with Estimating, Design, and Project Management teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and project execution
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, and trades to secure and support new project opportunities
  • Recommend appropriate commercial kitchen equipment and design solutions based on client requirements
  • Support project delivery by collaborating on construction details and ensuring client expectations are met
  • Maintain client relationships through all phases of the project, including follow-up and post‑completion support

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This role is based in Edmonton, Calgary, or Vancouver, working collaboratively with the contracts team.

This role may require occasional travel to client sites to support project needs and on-site collaboration.

What You Bring

Education and Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Institutional Management, Project Management, Interior Design, or a related field
  • Strong experience within the foodservice industry, ideally in a sales, design, or project-based role
  • Experience in B2B sales, account management, or contract sales is considered an asset
  • Experience working with multi-unit or national accounts is an asset
  • Demonstrated understanding of foodservice operations, including workflow, efficiency, and applicable codes
  • Knowledge of construction, mechanical, and electrical coordination related to commercial kitchens
  • Familiarity with permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements
