This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Specialist - Data & AI based in Canada. This is a high-impact commercial role focused on driving the adoption of modern Data & AI solutions across mid-market and enterprise organizations in the US. You will help clients transform their data ecosystems through cloud-native platforms, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities, with a strong emphasis on Databricks and Lakehouse architecture. The role combines strategic consultative selling with hands-on deal execution across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will engage directly with senior executives such as CIOs and CDOs to shape transformation roadmaps and unlock measurable business value. Working closely with cloud partners and internal delivery teams, you will play a key role in building scalable go-to-market strategies. Accountabilities Drive the full sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting and pipeline generation through solution design, negotiation, and deal closure. Build and expand a strong pipeline across US mid-market and enterprise accounts in the Data & AI space. Sell Data & AI transformation services including Databricks implementations, Lakehouse modernization, data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML solutions. Develop compelling value propositions and business cases that clearly connect technical capabilities to business outcomes. Partner with Databricks and cloud providers to execute joint go-to-market initiatives and account strategies. Collaborate with pre-sales, consulting, and delivery teams to design tailored solutions for complex client needs. Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CDOs, and business leaders to shape transformation agendas. Represent the organization at industry events, client workshops, and partner-led initiatives. Build and manage strategic account plans focused on growth, expansion, and long-term value creation. Continuously refine messaging and positioning to align Data & AI offerings with evolving market needs. Requirements 5–8 years of experience in B2B technology sales, ideally within Data, Cloud, Analytics, or AI solutions. Proven track record of quota attainment and consistent pipeline generation in competitive markets. Experience selling modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Microsoft Fabric. Strong understanding of Data & AI ecosystems, including data engineering, analytics, ML, GenAI, and data governance concepts. Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, business-focused value propositions. Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders in enterprise environments. Strong consultative and value-based selling approach with a focus on outcomes. Familiarity with cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly desirable. Experience working with Databricks partners or within services-led/consulting-led environments is a plus. Strong communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills. High ownership mindset with adaptability in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Prior exposure to industries such as supply chain, manufacturing, retail, or logistics is advantageous.
