As a**–Canadian Vice President** - Complex Bridges (Design-Build), you will play a critical leadership role in expanding our complex bridge portfolio across the Americas, with a focus on the Canadian market. You will drive market growth, lead major pursuits, and deliver high-profile projects while positioning Jacobs as the partner of choice for alternative delivery.
This is a strategic, client-facing role combining technical leadership, market development, team growth, mentorship, and project delivery excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the strategy, positioning, and capture of major complex bridge opportunities across the Americas, with a focus on Design-Build.
- Drive market growth and business development, identifying emerging trends and shaping opportunities.
- Serve as a Bridge Lead, Senior Project Manager or Design Manager on complex, high-visibility bridge projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners.
- Leverage Jacobs’ global capabilities, innovation, and technical expertise to differentiate our solutions.
- Represent Jacobs as a trusted advisor and industry leader in client engagements and external forums.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Provide leadership in developing talent through the Technologist Career Path and mentorship programs.
Here's what you'll need

Extensive experience in complex and long-span bridge design and construction, including major crossings.

Strong background delivering Design-Build projects, with experience in alternative delivery (P3, Progressive DB, CM/GC, Alliance).

Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario, British Columbia.

Licensed with OIQ to practice as an Engineer in Quebec (.ing) preferred.

Established network with transportation agencies and contractor community.

Posted Salary Range: Minimum
350,000.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
400,000.00
The base salary range for this position is $350,000.00 to $400,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
