About the role

Kritik is one of the fastest-growing Education Tech companies in North America. Our founder brings a track record of past success growing an Ed Tech company to a 500M+ valuation. We're building a powerful assessment and content creation engine for Higher Education. We grew revenue from 50K to 700K YoY, and just raised $1M from Applyboard (Canada’s most recent unicorn) and others. We plan to grow 10X next year before we raise a Series A, as we continue to expand usage of our platform, which is currently being used in 100+ institutions including Cornell, Princeton and Columbia. A BDR is a sales executive-in-training. For a year, you'll help Account Executives cultivate leads and strategize how to effectively sell Kritik's platform to educators around the world. After 8-12 months of apprenticeship, you'll begin to nurture leads of your own, and will make above-market commission for the relationships you help to create. This means that if you work hard, you can out-earn many of your peers. Your first 3-6 months

Learn about Kritik's value proposition, messsaging and buyer personas Learn the tools necessary to be successful: CRM, Notion, Gong, and more. Prospect and strategize for high-value sales leads Qualify and develop new deals, and set qualified demonstrations of the Kritik platform through strategic calling, inbound qualification, and emailing. Educate professors on how Kritik is utilizing a "Learning by Teaching" methodology to allow students to reach their highest levels of cognitive skill Take a consultative approach to uncover educators' pain points

6-18 months

Continue to build on oyur core skills and product / industry knowledge Know what it takes to meet and exceed your goals and maintain the momentum and drive to do so. Expand your responsibiltiies into running product demos and nurturing leads further down the sales funnel. Work with mentors such as AEs and the VP of Sales to gain consideration for a promotion.

Are you the right fit?:

Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma Entrepreneurial mindset who strives in a fast-paced environment Experience with inbound/outbound prospecting (cold calling is a plus) Competitive, passionate and curious You have persuasive communication skills and can pitch a product to clients in a few seconds. You are determined and persistent and can overcome roadblocks through creativity You are a true believer in changing the educational landscape for the better and can convey this message effectively to prospective clients
