Acting as an in-house agency partner, this role translates business objectives into data-driven media plans, manages campaign execution across paid channels, and delivers performance insights that drive measurable business outcomes. Reporting to the Shared Media Leader, the Paid Media Manager will own paid media strategy, audience targeting, campaign setup, optimization, tracking and reporting while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external agency partners. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on platform expertise, analytical rigor and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Media Planning Develop integrated paid media strategies aligned with business objectives, audience needs and available budgets Build media plans that include channel recommendations, budget allocation, audience strategy, campaign structure and performance forecasts Recommend appropriate campaign objectives, including awareness, consideration, lead generation and conversion-focused initiatives Identify testing opportunities and develop structured testing roadmaps to improve campaign performance over time Provide strategic recommendations backed by data, platform best practices and business context Campaign Execution & Optimization Plan, launch, manage and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms including: Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube and Performance Max) Meta (Facebook and Instagram) LinkedIn Pinterest Other paid platforms as required Manage campaign budgets, pacing and performance against established KPIs Continuously optimize targeting, bidding strategies, creative approaches, messaging and budget allocation Work closely with internal design and content resources to develop and refine campaign assets Monitor platform changes, emerging trends and industry best practices to identify new opportunities Measurement, Tracking & Analytics Own campaign measurement frameworks and ensure accurate performance tracking across all paid media initiatives Implement and manage tracking through: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Google Tag Manager (GTM) Platform pixels and conversion tracking UTM governance and campaign tagging Partner with internal and external teams to ensure proper attribution and data integrity Analyze campaign performance and identify actionable insights, trends and opportunities for improvement Support dashboard development and reporting automation initiatives where appropriate Reporting & Stakeholder Communication Deliver clear, concise and actionable reporting tailored to audiences with varying levels of marketing knowledge Translate campaign performance into business-focused insights and recommendations Present findings, recommendations and strategic updates to internal stakeholders and brand teams Communicate performance trends, risks, opportunities and optimization plans in a way that is easily understood by non-technical audiences Agency & Vendor Management Collaborate with external media, programmatic, digital out-of-home and other specialized partners as required Evaluate vendor recommendations and ensure alignment with overall campaign strategy and business objectives Coordinate campaign execution across multiple internal and external stakeholders Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with organic social media, community management, public relations, SEO and broader sales marketing teams to ensure integrated campaign execution Contribute paid media expertise during campaign planning and annual marketing planning discussions Support the development of cohesive audience, content and channel strategies across brands No direct reports Required Skills & Experience 5–7+ years of hands-on paid media experience across multiple digital advertising platforms Demonstrated experience developing media strategies, media plans and budget recommendations tied to business objectives Strong experience managing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn platforms Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), conversion tracking and attribution methodologies Experience implementing and maintaining campaign tracking, tagging and measurement frameworks Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into strategic recommendations Experience presenting campaign performance and recommendations to stakeholders, clients or senior leadership Ability to manage multiple brands, projects and priorities simultaneously Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Experience working in agency, consultancy or multi-brand environments preferred Experience working with programmatic, streaming video, digital out-of-home or other specialized media partners is considered an asset Experience with Looker Studio or similar reporting platforms is considered an asset Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
