About the role

Job description:

New Car Sales Manager – Luxury & Exotic Automotive

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and highly professional New Car Sales Manager to join our world-class luxury automotive dealership representing some of the most prestigious brands in the industry, including Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, Lotus, and INEOS.

This is not a traditional automotive management role. We are looking for a leader who understands that our clients expect a hospitality experience comparable to the “Ritz-Carlton” standard — where professionalism, attention to detail, discretion, and personalized service are paramount.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the new car sales department while delivering an exceptional client experience that reflects the exclusivity and prestige of our brands.

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Performance

  • Lead and manage the new vehicle sales department to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor individual salesperson performance and provide coaching, training, and accountability.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings, review traffic, appointments, closing ratios, and follow-up activities.
  • Ensure all sales staff follow dealership sales processes and customer experience standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase market share, profitability, and customer retention.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure every customer receives a professional, luxury-level experience from initial contact through delivery.
  • Assist sales staff with negotiations, product presentations, and closing deals.
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalations in a timely and professional manner.

Inventory Management

  • Manage new vehicle inventory levels, aging units, and ordering processes.
  • Work closely with OEM representatives regarding allocation, production schedules, incentives, and programs.
  • Ensure proper vehicle merchandising, pricing, and online listings.
  • Monitor inventory turn and maintain an optimal mix of models and trims.

Financial & Operational Management

  • Review department financial statements and monitor gross profit, expenses, and sales trends.
  • Maximize front-end gross while supporting finance office opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and legal regulations.
  • Approve deals, desk transactions, and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous automotive sales management experience required; luxury or exotic automotive experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for an ultra-luxury environment
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with discerning clientele
  • Strong organizational and operational management abilities
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Experience with dealership management systems and CRM platforms
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Dental care
  • Extended health care
  • Life insurance
  • On-site parking
  • RRSP match
  • Store discount
  • Vision care

Experience:

  • Luxury Automotive: 4 years (preferred)

  • Sales: 5 years (preferred)

  • Sales Management: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • AMVIC (preferred)

Work Location: In person
