Role Description The Salesperson is a full-time remote role responsible for generating and managing sales of industrial and commercial specialty chemical products. Daily activities include identifying and qualifying new leads, maintaining and growing existing accounts, and conducting virtual meetings or calls to understand customer needs. The Salesperson will prepare quotes, proposals, and product recommendations, while coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, tracking market trends, and documenting sales activities in CRM systems. The successful candidate will focus on building long-term relationships, providing consultative solutions, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Qualifications Strong sales, account management, and customer relationship skills, with a consultative approach to understanding and solving client needs. Knowledge of industrial and commercial chemical products, or related technical sales experience in B2B environments. Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical information in clear, accessible terms. Proficiency with digital tools such as CRM systems, online meeting platforms, and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, documents, email). Solid organizational and time management abilities, including pipeline management, territory planning, and follow-up discipline in a remote setting. Ability to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to changing customer demands and market conditions. Previous experience in field or remote sales, preferably within chemicals, industrial products, or related sectors. Post-secondary education in business, chemistry, engineering, or a related field is an asset, though equivalent experience will be considered.
