Role Description This full-time, on-site Service Advisor with Parts experience role is based in Ayr, ON. The Service Advisor is responsible for greeting customers, understanding service and repair needs, and accurately documenting work requests in the system. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating service appointments, preparing work orders, providing repair status updates, and ensuring timely communication between customers, technicians, and the parts department. The role involves sourcing and identifying parts, preparing quotes, managing parts orders and returns, and verifying availability to support efficient service operations. The Service Advisor also helps resolve customer concerns, promotes aftersales services, and supports continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and dealership performance. Qualifications Strong customer-focused service skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction. Experience in Customer-focused Service and Aftersales, with the ability to build long-term relationships. Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly relay information between customers and the service/parts teams. Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive or truck dealership environment. Hands-on experience with parts identification, ordering, inventory systems, and basic mechanical terminology. Proficiency with dealership management systems, scheduling tools, and general computer applications. Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Ayr, ON, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or automotive training is an asset.
