About the role
FTC Innovation is a growing telecommunications service provider, specializing in the fiber optic industry. We are looking for committed professionals with the same ambition and drive as our company, to provide the ultimate customer service experience. FTC is expanding our sales team in Winnipeg, and we are looking for a highly motivated, articulate, and persuasive Sales Representative to drive our fiber optic service program. You will be at the forefront of our business, interacting directly with customers to provide expert guidance on upgrading their services. This is a performance-driven, high-energy role where your hard work is rewarded through a combination of a stable hourly wage and uncapped commission incentives.
Under the supervision of your sales lead, key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Drive Sales Growth: Proactively identify opportunities to sell or upgrade existing fiber customers to comprehensive service bundles, including High-Speed Internet, TV, and Phone packages. Customer Education: Act as an expert on our product offerings, translating complex service benefits into clear, valuable solutions for the customer. Professional Representation: Maintain a professional and well-spoken demeanor as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring each interaction reflects the high standards of our brand. Maintain and build customer relationships. Performance Tracking: Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales quotas and maintain accurate records of your sales activities. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with our project management and site teams to ensure customer needs are met from the initial outreach to the final installation.
Requirements Proven Sales Mindset: A self-starter with experience in sales, door-to-door, or high-volume customer service. You are driven by targets and motivated by the ability to maximize your earning potential. Exceptional Communication: You are comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people, possess strong active listening skills, and can communicate clearly and persuasively. Resilience & Professionalism: You maintain a positive, professional attitude when handling objections or operating in a fast-paced environment. Reliability: Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving individual and team goals. Must be able to work in all weather conditions, and have a valid class 5 drivers license with access to a reliable vehicle Must be fluent in English, and be able to legally work within Canada Criminal Check is required
