About the role

Company Description Spark Conferences is a boutique conference company specializing in educational conferences for Canada's healthcare sector. Over the past ten years, we've grown into one of Canada's leading independent healthcare conference producers by focusing on quality content, meaningful relationships and exceptional delegate experiences.

Role Description This is a relationship-focused B2B sponsorship sales role. You'll work with an established portfolio of healthcare conferences, an existing CRM, marketing support and professionally designed sponsorship packages. Your focus will be on developing long-term sponsor relationships, renewing existing partnerships and securing new sponsorship opportunities. Success in this role is measured by revenue, professionalism, collaboration and the quality of the relationships you build.

Responsibilities Build and maintain long-term relationships with sponsors. Renew existing sponsorship agreements. Prospect and secure new sponsorship opportunities. Conduct outreach through phone, email and virtual meetings. Prepare sponsorship proposals and negotiate agreements. Work collaboratively with Marketing and Conference Producers. Maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM. Attend Spark conferences across Canada. Achieve annual sponsorship sales targets.

Qualifications Minimum seven years of B2B sales experience. Experience in sponsorship, conference, media, association or professional services sales is considered a strong asset. Excellent relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills. Comfortable working with senior healthcare executives. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred). Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely. Collaborative, respectful and team-oriented.

Compensation Base salary: $60,000–$70,000, depending on experience. Commission: 6% of sponsorship revenue personally sold and collected. Expected On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000–$100,000. Annual sponsorship quota: Approximately $400,000.
