About the Role

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, Lankin Investments is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our fast-paced team, who will be responsible to deliver timely accounts payable duties including processing invoices, managing vendor relations, payments setup and other month end duties as required.

Responsibilities

Accurately review and process invoices, ensuring deadlines and cut-off procedures are applied. Execute semi-monthly cheque run file workflow and process various types of payments including EFTs, Wires, Transfers, Cheques and Bill Payments. Manage multiple accounts payable mailboxes to ensure timely response and resolution for all queries. Support vendor management process including setup, maintenance and reconciling discrepancies. Assist team with system automation initiatives. Collaborate with cross functional departments for providing support in relation to account payable.

Qualifications

University or College education in business or accounting. Minimum 2-3 years experience with accounts payable or general accounting. Strong understanding of full cycle accounts payable process. Experience processing high volume invoices in fast-paced environment. Experience in Yardi or similar ERP Platform.

Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask as required and a constant improvement mindset identifying, assessing and improving upon areas of enhancements. A professional and self-motivated individual with strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills to maintain and manage relations with internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet all deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office including proficiency in intermediate excel functions (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, CONCATENATE, Pivot Tables). Dedicated team player with a positive attitude and the flexibility to get the job done.
