Manager Client Services
Location: Montreal (Quebec), Canada (Hybrid)
In this position, you’ll be based in the Montreal office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. A role you will love
The Manager role provides leadership and support to a team of Relationship Managers and Associate Relationship Managers with responsibility for managing team performance in delivery of services to client portfolios, within the operational requirements of the business.
Reporting to the General Manager, Issuer Services, the Manager role is expected to work collaboratively across business units throughout the organization to support the team in delivery of registry product and service solutions to clients.=
Other Key Duties And Responsibilities Are As Follows
Provide leadership and guidance to the client management team (Relationship Managers and Associate Relationship Managers), ensuring service levels are consistently met and strong client satisfaction is maintained. Drive a high-performance team culture by fostering collaboration, accountability, ethical behavior, and continuous development through coaching, performance reviews, and talent hiring. Own and deliver on financial objectives for the account portfolio, including revenue growth, profitability, client retention, and effective management of accounts receivable. Act as the escalation point for client issues, ensuring concerns are resolved in a timely and effective manner while minimizing risk to the organization. Build strong relationships across internal business units and with external stakeholders, while representing the organization in industry events and contributing to strategic initiatives and projects.

Strong Functional Expertise
A broad knowledge base across technical, industry, product, and client domains, with proven experience in a corporate client-facing role. Ability to quickly build expertise through training, collaboration, and leadership guidance.
Business Acumen
Solid understanding of how cross-functional teams collaborate to achieve organizational goals, along with in-depth knowledge of products and services to support client relationship growth and retention.
Leadership Capability
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members while fostering strong internal and external relationships. Experience contributing to client-driven initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Analytical Problem-Solving
Strong attention to detail with the ability to evaluate complex situations and apply sound judgment to identify and implement effective solutions aligned with business policies and procedures.
Client Impact Focus
A commitment to delivering high-quality service that positively impacts client relationships and strengthens the organization’s reputation within the industry.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively – [MD1] both verbally and in writing – across a range of audiences. Skilled in handling sensitive situations with tact and professionalism, while managing both simple and complex client interactions.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years managing corporate client portfolios (preferably in financial, securities, insurance, or legal industries) Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills Bilingual proficiency in English and French Prior team management experience in a collaborative environment (preferred)
