About the role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and curious Alliance Manager to support the growth of our ERP partner ecosystem
  • This role will focus on identifying, researching, and initiating relationships with emerging ERP platforms and ERP-adjacent technologies across North America and global markets
  • Through grit, attention to detail, and a builder mindset, you will help Tipalti identify and engage the platforms that will define the future of financial operations
  • This role is critical to expanding Tipalti’s ecosystem by creating pipeline for future partnerships and enabling our Alliances team to move faster on high-potential opportunities
  • Ecosystem Identification & Market Development
  • Identify and research emerging ERP, accounting, and financial management platforms, with a focus on AI-native, vertical, and international ERPs
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective ERP and ERP-adjacent partners aligned to Tipalti’s Ideal Partner Profile
  • Continuously monitor market trends, funding activity, and product innovation across the ERP landscape
  • Outbound Partner Development
  • Initiate outbound engagement with prospective partners, including founders, product leaders, and partnerships stakeholders
  • Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach that clearly articulates Tipalti’s value within ERP ecosystems
  • Establish early-stage relationships and position Tipalti as a strategic partner for embedded financial operations
  • Pipeline Creation & Qualification
  • Qualify prospective partners based on strategic fit, technical alignment, and growth potential
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of new ERP partnership opportunities for Alliance Managers
  • Document research, outreach, and engagement activity within Salesforce and internal systems
  • Support early discovery conversations and help shape initial partner strategy
  • Provide structured insights on target partners, including product capabilities, ICP alignment, and ecosystem positioning
  • Ecosystem Intelligence & Feedback
  • Deliver insights to internal stakeholders on ERP market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
  • Provide feedback to Product, Marketing, and Partnerships teams on integration opportunities and ecosystem gaps
  • Help refine Tipalti’s Ideal Partner Profile and ecosystem expansion strategy

  • Demonstrated ability to research markets, identify opportunities, and translate insights into action
  • Builder mindset with a proactive, “get-it-done” mentality
  • Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, consulting, or market research within SaaS or fintech
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a high degree of ownership
  • Strong interest in ERP, accounting, financial operations, or embedded fintech ecosystems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in outbound and executive-level messaging
