About the role

On behalf of our client, Maritime Solar, we are looking for Solar Advisors to join their locally owned and operated team.

About Our Client: Maritime Solar is a locally owned Nova Scotia company dedicated to helping homeowners reduce energy costs through high-quality solar solutions.

Built by experienced trades professionals, Maritime Solar has earned a reputation for exceptional workmanship, honest advice, and outstanding customer service. Their team takes pride in doing things the right way, creating long-term relationships with homeowners rather than focusing on quick sales.

As the company continues to grow, they're looking for motivated, personable individuals who enjoy meeting new people, thrive in a performance-based environment, and want the opportunity to build a rewarding career.

The Opportunity: As a Solar Advisor, you'll build relationships with homeowners, generate your own leads through neighborhood outreach, and guide customers through the entire sales process, from the initial conversation to presenting a customized solar solution. You'll receive hands-on training, ongoing coaching, and mentorship from experienced sales leaders who want to see you succeed. Once you're comfortable in the role, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule and build your business. If you're self-motivated, enjoy talking with people, and are excited by unlimited earning potential, this could be an incredible opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate: ● Have previous sales experience, especially consultative or high-value sales ● Enjoy meeting new people and building relationships ● Are confident speaking with homeowners ● Are self-motivated and able to work independently ● Have strong communication and customer service skills ● Are organized and comfortable managing your own schedule ● Are willing to learn and accept coaching ● Enjoy working toward personal goals and earning based on performance ● Previous door-to-door experience is considered an asset, but it isn't required. Strong sales ability and relationship-building skills are more important.

Responsibilities: ● Prospecting neighborhoods through door-to-door outreach ● Starting conversations with homeowners about the benefits of solar ● Booking and conducting customer appointments ● Presenting customized solar proposals ● Following up with prospective customers throughout the sales process ● Building your own pipeline and managing customer relationships ● Entering customer information into the company's CRM ● Representing Maritime Solar professionally within the community

Requirements ● Legally eligible to work in Canada with Permanent Residency or Canadian Citizenship ● Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle ● Comfortable travelling throughout HRM and surrounding communities ● Strong English communication skills ● Access to a laptop or tablet for customer presentations is preferred

Benefits ● This is an independent contractor opportunity with uncapped earning potential. ● Commission-only compensation ● Typical commission ranges from approximately $2,500-$4,500 per sale ● Monthly performance bonuses available ● Opportunity to earn well into six figures for top performers

Training & Support Maritime Solar is committed to helping new team members succeed. You'll receive: ● Comprehensive product and sales training ● Field coaching and ride-alongs ● Ongoing mentorship ● Sales manuals and role-playing sessions ● Branded apparel ● A collaborative, supportive team environment

Why Join Maritime Solar? ● Unlimited earning potential ● Build your own schedule as you grow ● Work with a supportive, close-knit team ● Company trips and team events ● Career growth within a growing Nova Scotia business ● Represent a product that helps homeowners save money while investing in renewable energy

Please Note: This is a commission-only, independent contractor opportunity. Success in this role comes from consistency, self-motivation, and a willingness to build relationships in the community.

If you're looking for a traditional 9-to-5 position with a guaranteed salary, this may not be the right fit. If you're motivated by performance and excited about building your own success, we'd love to hear from you.

If the above information excites you and is a career opportunity you would like to explore, please apply through the following link: https://zurl.to/bF5S?source=CareerSite and an enthusiastic member of our recruitment team will review your resume and related qualifications!

We thank all candidates for their interest. However, only candidates that we determine are best aligned to the role will be contacted for initial discussions.

Please note, candidates must be located in Canada and legally eligible to work on a permanent basis, as sponsorship for this opportunity is unfortunately not an option.
