Role Description The Sales Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, and managing a portfolio of client accounts. Day-to-day tasks include conducting sales outreach, meeting with clients, presenting promotional solutions, preparing quotes, and closing sales. The Sales Account Executive will maintain strong relationships with existing clients, provide responsive customer service, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customized products. The role also includes tracking sales activities, maintaining CRM records, and contributing to sales targets and revenue growth.

Position Summary The Sales Account Executive is responsible for achieving revenue goals while delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role provides day to day leadership, coaching, and sales support to ensure the team consistently meets performance expectations and aligns with Promo Guyz's strategic business objectives. The Sales Account Executive will foster a positive, collaborative, and results driven culture while developing team members' skills, driving accountability, and contributing to the company's continued growth and success. This role is expected to build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, oversee the sales pipeline, and work cross functionally with internal departments to deliver seamless customer experiences. As Promo Guyz operates in the promotional products industry, the ideal candidate will also possess strong creative and visual presentation skills. Experience creating client mock-ups, product presentations, and digital artwork using graphic design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar platforms) is considered a strong asset. The ability to translate customer ideas into visually appealing product concepts will help enhance the sales process and improve client engagement.
Key Responsibilities Sales Operations Monitor daily sales activities and pipeline performance. Assist the Director of Sales with implementing sales initiatives and priorities. Ensure accurate use of CRM systems and timely sales reporting. Help identify opportunities to improve sales processes and team efficiency. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Support team members in resolving customer concerns and escalating issues when necessary. Promote exceptional customer service and long-term client partnerships. Business Development Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business. Support sales campaigns, promotional initiatives, and lead generation efforts. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. Compliance Follow company policies and procedures. Support compliance with the Employment Standards Act (ESA), Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), the Ontario Human Rights Code, and company health and safety practices. Maintain confidentiality of customer, employee, and company information.

Qualifications Education Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered. Experience 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management. Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coaching others is considered an asset. Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and build customer relationships. Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred: Experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, retail, printing, marketing services, or a related industry. Previous supervisory or team lead experience.

Frequently use a keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment. Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and business partners. Occasionally lift materials weighing up to 20 lbs (9 kg). Travel locally as required.
