We bring together the quality of a standalone boutique with the breadth of a full service club, and we deliver an experience that members build their week around. The Sales and Acquisition Manager is the leader responsible for bringing the right members into this club and building the systems that keep them. This role is accountable for total membership revenue performance at the club level, including volume, conversion, and membership mix. You own new member acquisition, a team of Membership Coordinators, and the culture that makes excellent numbers inevitable.
This is a leadership role first. The person in it sets the standard, develops the people, and creates the conditions that make excellent numbers inevitable.
WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

New Member Acquisition. You own the full funnel; from first contact to first visit to first renewal. Lead generation, prospect outreach, tour booking, consultative tour delivery, and close. The pipeline is yours.

Your Team. A team of Membership Coordinators who perform at a high level because you develop them, set clear expectations, and create accountability that feels like culture.

Membership Mix. Diamond penetration is part of your mandate. You understand who the right member is, what they are looking for, and how to help them see that Altea is the answer.

Retention and Reactivation. Acquisition without retention is not growth. You monitor engagement data, intervene early when attrition risk appears, and design reactivation campaigns that bring the right members back.

Community Outreach. Corporate partnerships, referral programs, local business development, and community events. You are the face of Altea in the market, and you build relationships that generate leads long-term.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a team lead or management capacity
- Background in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or a membership-based business strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of developing people and building team performance, not just individual results
- Experience with CRM and pipeline management. Altea operates on MyAltea
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Kinesiology, or a related field is an asset, but not a requirement
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification, renewed annually
- Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement of employment
WHAT YOU’LL EARN
This is a leadership role compensated at a level that reflects the standard we hold and the calibre of person we are looking for. All rates of pay are confidential. Beyond base, you will receive annual and monthly performance bonus opportunities, ESOP, group health benefits, a complimentary Altea membership and Plus One, an extensive vacation package plus paid Flex days, a 4-day work week program (12 days annually), and a cellphone allowance.
SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Membership net growth is consistently positive. Your team is converting at or above benchmark. Diamond penetration is moving in the right direction. Attrition is being caught early, not explained after the fact. At least one Membership Coordinator has grown under your leadership. Your pipeline in MyAltea is clean, active, and tells the real story. The sales culture you have built runs at a high standard whether you are in the building or not.
