Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Salesperson at Vintage West Wine & Spirits Marketing. The Salesperson will manage and grow a portfolio of wine and spirits brands, building relationships with distributors, retailers, and on-premise accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, conducting virtual and in-person sales presentations, negotiating pricing and promotions within established guidelines, and regularly following up to ensure orders, placements, and reorders. The role involves tracking sales performance, maintaining accurate CRM records, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with marketing to support brand visibility and targeted campaigns. The Salesperson will also stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge to effectively represent clients and identify new opportunities. Qualifications Demonstrated sales skills, including prospecting, account management, relationship building, and closing deals. Experience in the wine and spirits industry or strong interest combined with the ability to learn product knowledge quickly. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence buyers and clearly convey value propositions. Comfort with remote work, including self-management, time management, and effective use of digital collaboration tools. Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and use CRM or similar systems to track accounts and opportunities. Collaborative mindset and willingness to coordinate with marketing and brand management teams on campaigns and promotions. High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation when representing client brands. Valid authorization to work in the relevant jurisdiction; ability to travel occasionally for client meetings, trade shows, or key account visits. Preferred: prior experience in B2B sales, beverage distribution, or brand representation; bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
