Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Canada Swift Cargo Inc. is seeking a visionary and growth-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead, scale, and transform our Canadian operations based in Toronto, Canada. As a leading global third-party logistics (3PL) provider with a 35-year debt-free history, 600+ employees, and an upcoming 15-country European expansion, we offer a competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses alongside full P&L ownership of the Canadian market. Position Overview The CEO will serve as the chief commercial and operational leader for Swift Cargo Inc. in Canada. You will adapt global strategies to the local market, build a high-performing sales infrastructure, manage comprehensive logistics verticals, and ensure total compliance with regional shipping regulations. This role reports directly to the Head of the Region. Key Responsibilities 📈 Strategic Growth & Sales Leadership Drive sales strategy to expand market share and revenue streams across Canada. Build a sales organization by establishing clear pipelines, targets, and accountability metrics. Secure high-value accounts and strategic partnerships to accelerate business expansion. Align local go-to-market initiatives with global standards alongside marketing and product teams. ⚙️ Operational & Financial Excellence Own full P&L responsibility to ensure revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability. Manage diverse service verticals, including Truck Brokerage, Ocean/Air Freight, Customs Brokerage, Consol Containers, Reefer, and Project Cargo. Deliver quarterly reports on KPIs, sales metrics, pipeline health, and risk mitigations to the Group Executive Team. Oversee compliance with Canadian tax laws, legal practices, payroll, and CIFFA logistics frameworks. 👥 People & Culture Leadership Foster a performance-driven culture built on honesty, integrity, and corporate respect. Implement talent rotation strategies across verticals to build agile, cross-functional local teams. Conduct structured performance reviews and establish clear expectations for senior leadership. What We Expect of You Experience & Credentials 10+ years of leadership experience in general management, business operations, or commercial roles with full P&L ownership. Strong leadership & decision making. Proven track record of scaling sales volumes and executing high-value business development deals. Industry knowledge of accounting principles, revenue forecasting, asset-light/3PL operations, and data management. Qualification: An MBA degree would be an added advantage. Skills & Competencies Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in French is highly advantageous. Strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial data and optimize local budgets. What We Offer Compensation: A base salary of $250,000 CAD plus an aggressive performance bonus structure.
