Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sales Lead, the Event Salesperson is the first point of contact for potential clients. You will conduct engaging site tours, build strong relationships, and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings, all while meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Follow-Up & Site Tour Bookings:

  • Manage and follow up with a large number of warm and recent leads from our existing client database of approximately 1,000 contacts.
  • Make consistent outbound calls and follow-ups to encourage prospective clients to schedule and attend venue site tours.
  • Booking site visits is one of the most important responsibilities of this role and plays a key part in achieving sales targets.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through friendly, professional, and timely communication.
  • Maintain a high level of motivation, energy, and persistence when contacting and following up with leads.
  • Help clients feel confident and excited about choosing Madison Greenhouse for their event experience.
  • Accurately track all calls, conversations, and follow-ups in Pipedrive CRM.

Site Tours & Client Engagement:

  • Welcome clients warmly and conduct informative site tours.
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable dates, packages, and options.
  • Maintain professional communication with both current and prospective clients throughout the sales process.

Sales, Telecommunication & Follow-Up:

  • Manage inbound and outbound communications through phone, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Follow up with new and existing leads promptly to nurture relationships and drive conversions.
  • Maintain prompt, professional communication to build rapport and close deals.

Time & Productivity Management:

  • Balance follow-ups, tours, and administrative tasks effectively.
  • Focus on high-impact activities that drive conversions.

Sales Performance & Collaboration:

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Work closely with the Sales Lead for guidance, training, and feedback.

Process Adherence:

  • Use the latest sales materials, including manuals, FAQs, and objection-handling guides.
  • Accurately record all interactions and follow-ups in Pipedrive CRM.

Qualifications

  • 0?2 years of proven sales experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally within weddings, events, or hospitality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build trust and establish positive relationships with clients.
  • Strong telephone and client communication skills, with the ability to confidently manage and convert both inbound and outbound sales inquirie
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive attitude and a demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to confidently and persuasively engage clients.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage contracts, timelines, and follow-ups effectively.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset who contributes to a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to adjust to changes and feedback while maintaining professionalism.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with reliable transportation.

This role is vital in ensuring Madison Greenhouse delivers outstanding client experiences and maximizes event bookings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
