At Top Tier Medical, we provide medical imaging equipment and parts that are used for medical procedures and services such as ultrasounds, bone densitometers, and C-Arms in clinics and hospitals in Canada, the US, and other countries. In addition to providing state-of-the-art equipment for our clients, we also specialize in services such as installations, inspections, relocations, and any other custom services to cater to the need of our clients.
YOUR ROLE As the Business Development Associate, you will play a pivotal role when it comes to Top Tier Medical delivering a true top tier customer service experience.
In this position, you will be responsible for driving sales within your territory and running your sales territory as you would your own personal business. If you possess a high entrepreneurial spirit and have a hunter mentality, you will succeed. We do provide leads, but you will also be responsible for generating leads organically. In addition to generating sales, you will also be responsible for managing your sales accounts and customers in your territory. This is a relationship-based position, and you will be ensuring that your clients get an exceptional customer service experience, even after the sale is made.
You should be an effective communicator and feel comfortable in relaying information about all products and services that we provide. It is important to keep up to date with the latest data and to be able to present and discuss our offerings with health care professionals. Networking is essential to your success, so you should possess the natural ability to create strong relationships and partnerships to help further develop your client base in your territory. You will also be attending relevant conference, trade shows, and other meetings to increase the visibility of our core products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a Business Plan that supports your sales quota and focusing on balances, strategic selling. Driving sales in your territory through methods such as cold calling, networking, business networks, attending relevant events, etc. Creatively finding new ways to generate leads. Meeting and surpassing your sales quotas and financial target objectives. Conducting one-on-one and group presentations to demonstrate the short-term and long-term benefits of the core products. Negotiating contracts and maintaining detailed records. Constantly look for areas of opportunity and improvement in the management of your sales territory. Build strong and lasting relationships with your clients through excellent communication skills, being knowledgeable about the products and services, having empathy when listening to their needs, and creating creative solutions. QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred At least 1+ year of customer service and/or sales experience with a proven track record to meet or exceed goals. Positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about the changes in the healthcare industry. Ability to understand and convey business issues and technical concepts. Strong sense of reliability and a team mentality. Highly competitive and driven to not only meet but exceed goals. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred). Valid driver’s license, 2-year minimum driving record with a clean driving history. Ability to travel to clients’ sites within your sales territory.
