Vacancy Status: This is for a current opening. Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 Job Description Who you are You are the person who looks at a marketing workflow and immediately sees the data gap. You have spent your career building connections, pipelines, and automations that let small teams compete with much larger ones. You find it satisfying when the machine runs cleanly — and you cannot leave a broken integration alone. You do not treat AI as a novelty. You treat it as infrastructure — a way to automate the repetitive so your energy goes toward the architecture, judgment, and problem-solving that actually require you. You do not wait to be handed requirements. You identify the most impactful technical problem in front of the end investor growth team, scope it, build it, and move to the next one.
The Roles Purpose Most investors who choose our products do so long before we ever know their name. This role exists to make sure we reach them anyway — and that when they are ready to act, we are already part of the conversation. As Growth Engineer, you are the marketing technical backbone of the end investor growth squad — the person who builds and maintains the systems that let a small team reach and engage a much larger investor audience than its headcount would otherwise allow. You work at the intersection of data infrastructure, marketing technology, and AI-powered automation. You remove the friction that limits how fast and how precisely we can grow. Your output is not code — it is the investor audience that code helps us build. This role embodies our value of Innovation — reimagining what an end investor growth function can accomplish when its infrastructure is built for an AI-first world. The Work: What AI does so you don’t have to
Audience segmentation updates Campaign data aggregation Personalised content triggering Performance anomaly detection Investor profile enrichment Reporting assembly and distribution A/B test result tracking and logging You design the systems. You govern the outputs. You decide what good looks like.
The Work: What only you can do Design the architecture that governs it all Identify where data quality breaks down Translate end investor growth goals into technical systems Evaluate tools against real investor outcomes Build integrations that hold at scale Decide what good data looks like Catch the risk before it becomes the problem The technical intelligence that no tool replaces.
Responsibilities: What you will do/what you will own
Map and close the most critical gaps in our investor audience tracking infrastructure — establishing a clear baseline within your first 30 days. Build and maintain data pipelines that give the end investor growth team a unified, reliable view of how investor audiences engage with our brand across every channel we operate. Deploy at least one AI-assisted workflow that measurably improves an investor acquisition metric within the first two quarters — whether that is audience reach, engagement quality, or acquisition cost efficiency. Own the technical infrastructure for end investor growth experimentation — ensuring the team can run clean tests and make data-backed decisions without needing an engineer for every experiment. Establish the Growth Engineer function as a trusted technical partner to the squad — with documented systems that are reliable, scalable, and built to outlast the person who built them.
Who you’ll work with You sit inside the end investor growth squad as the primary technical interface between marketing intent and marketing infrastructure, which means your work is only as valuable as the business outcomes it enables. You will also work closely with Data and Product Engineering teams, and you will need to build trust quickly with colleagues who care deeply about what you build but may not speak the same technical language. That translation work — between systems and strategy, between code and commercial outcomes — is as important as anything you will build.
What you’ll build here Growth engineering at the intersection of AI automation and financial services audience building is a discipline most organisations are still inventing. You will build capabilities here — in marketing data infrastructure, AI-powered workflow design, investor audience analytics, and experimentation systems — that represent genuinely new work, not maintenance of something that already exists. The skills you develop in this role will be among the most transferable in fintech growth over the next five years. Purpose is intentionally building the conditions for that.
Qualifications: What you must bring 5+ years of software engineering or growth engineering experience, with a track record of shipping reliable, production-quality systems in a fast-moving environment Demonstrated ability to build and maintain integrations between marketing tools, data platforms, and third-party APIs — you have done this in production, not just in side projects Solid command of data: you can build a pipeline, write a meaningful query, and produce reporting that non-technical colleagues can actually trust and use Working knowledge of how modern marketing stacks fit together — event tracking, audience data flows, and campaign attribution at the channel level Real experience using AI tools to build or automate something — not familiarity, actual implementation with a measurable outcome you can speak to
What Will Set You Apart Experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry where data handling and compliance requirements shaped how systems were designed and built Comfort operating as a technical individual contributor in a small, fast-moving team — carrying significant ownership without layers of oversight or detailed specifications A demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous end investor growth goals into scoped, sequenced technical work — and to make progress when requirements are still being figured out Experience working with behavioural analytics and connecting audience engagement signals to meaningful business outcomes An instinct for where AI automation creates real leverage in an end investor growth workflow versus where it introduces complexity or risk without a clear benefit What success looks like in your first year
Investor audience tracking is clean, reliable, and connected across our key channels — the end investor growth team makes channel decisions on data it trusts. AI-assisted workflows are running in at least two end investor growth programs, with measurable improvements to efficiency or investor audience reach versus baseline. The end investor growth squad runs experiments independently — with infrastructure you built that handles tracking, logging, and result reporting reliably. Data pipelines are documented, stable, and depended on by other teams — without constant intervention from you to keep them running. You are recognised as the technical engine of the end investor growth squad — the person who makes ambitious end investor growth operationally possible.
