Sales & Estimation - Sales Consultant

Job Description:
As a sales consultant, you will be responsible for generating revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have existing knowledge of the building envelope and insulation products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify market potential by qualifying accounts
  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments; make initial presentations; understand account requirements
  • Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explain product and service capabilities; overcome objections; prepare contracts
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts
  • Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplish marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Develop relationships with contractors and builders
  • Deliver results with respect to sales targets and Margin targets
  • Work closely with Customer Experience Team to schedule appointments, follow up with customers and close sales.

Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of insulation products and an understanding of the building envelope is a must
  • Experience within the construction industry is highly desired
  • Presentation Skills, Internal Communications, Verbal and Written communication,
  • Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Persistence, Meeting Sales Goals
  • Ambition and a thirst to learn is a must
  • 2 to 5 years of experience with territory sales
