Our client is seeking a professional Sales Engineer to grow the Kingston to Ottawa territory. If you have experience in HVAC sales, applications engineering, or mechanical engineering, along with a strong understanding of hydronic systems, boilers, pumps, and commercial HVAC, you'll have the opportunity to become a trusted advisor to contractors, consulting engineers, wholesalers, and end users while growing a successful territory.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and grow relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, wholesalers, and commercial end users.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the Kingston to Ottawa territory.
  • Provide technical consultation and recommend hydronic and HVAC solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Support equipment selection, quotations, specifications, and project opportunities.
  • Deliver product presentations, technical training sessions, and Lunch & Learns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and exceptional customer service.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging HVAC technologies.

What We Are Looking For?

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC technical sales, outside sales, applications engineering, or sales engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of hydronic heating systems, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, refrigeration, and commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree, Engineering Technology diploma, or equivalent hands on HVAC technical experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience working with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, distributors, or design build firms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills.
  • Self motivated with the ability to manage an established territory independently.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the Kingston to Ottawa region.
