Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Full-time Sales Representative for our West US Region! This position will require travel and presence in the Toronto, Canada territory.

SCOPE OF POSITION The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability & growth within an assigned territory by effectively selling all of Hood’s products. This position will require travel and presence in the Toronto, Canada area.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare an annual business plan for the assigned territory and compile and complete a yearly sales and expense forecast.
- Develop & execute sales strategies with the help of the Territory Sales Manager and the Director of Region Sales.
- Identify and plan Target Account strategies in conjunction with the Territory Sales Manager and monitor competitive activity and trends within the territory.
- Conduct strategic account reviews with the Territory Sales Manager, monthly.
- Utilize daily the CRM system employed by Hood, not all inclusive, but leads, opportunities, sales call reports, trial tracking, and anything else required out of Hood’s CRM system.
- Prepare & submit weekly call reports, weekly expense reports, and monthly activity reports utilizing the Hood CRM system.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- University/college degree and 2-5 years’ experience.

SKILLS
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills, able to set priorities; responsive to customers.
- Self-motivated.
- Good computer skills.
- Some knowledge of flexible packaging products and markets.

The Paper Division has 15 geographically diverse locations across the United States and Canada making flexible paper packaging structures with a very wide range of types, formats and closures. The Plastics Division has 8 production locations, again with the broadest possible selection of structures and many with unique applications. Cross selling our products allows us to develop unique product and supply arrangements.
