The Role As a Business Development Representative, you're the first conversation a prospect has with RapidWorks. Your job is to find the operators who are drowning in manual dispatch and paperwork, get them on the phone, and book qualified meetings for our Account Executives. What you'll do: Run outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn) into waste management companies across North America Qualify and convert inbound leads into booked demos Have real conversations with owners, dispatchers, and operations managers about how they run their fleet today and where it's breaking Partner with Account Executives on account strategy, handoffs, and territory coverage Keep the CRM clean and your pipeline honest Feed what you're hearing in the market back to sales and marketing to sharpen our messaging

Requirements: Must reside in Canada Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and handling rejection without losing momentum Strong written and verbal communication you can hold a credible conversation with a business owner who's been running trucks for 30 years Self-directed and disciplined in a remote environment Strongly preferred: Background in construction, heavy equipment, or field services — you've worked in or around this industry and speak the language OR experience in B2B software sales (SDR/BDR,sales, or similar) Nice to have: Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, etc.) Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling
