Role Description The New Homes Sales Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Waterloo Region, ON, supporting the sales team in day-to-day operations at the model home or sales office. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting prospective buyers, answering inquiries, providing information about communities, floor plans, pricing, and features, and helping maintain an organized, welcoming sales environment. The role involves preparing and updating sales materials, collecting and entering client information, coordinating appointments, and supporting follow-up communications with leads. The Sales Assistant may assist with basic administrative tasks, open houses, and events, while collaborating closely with sales representatives, construction teams, and office staff to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to engage professionally with prospective buyers and homeowners. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication for client interactions and documentation. Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, such as comfort discussing home features, pricing, and options, and supporting the sales process. Candidates should possess solid Organization Skills to manage appointments, client records, and multiple tasks in a busy sales environment. Additional beneficial qualifications include basic computer proficiency (CRM or sales software experience an asset), attention to detail, reliability in weekend and evening availability as needed, and prior experience in real estate, home building, or retail customer service.
