A well-established national brokerage is seeking a proven commercial insurance leader to take ownership of their mid-market segment.

The Opportunity This is a people-first leadership role with real commercial accountability. You'll be running a book of middle market business through your team from coaching Account Managers/Executives, owning retention and growth outcomes, and partnering with markets to ensure your clients are well-served. What the Work Looks Like Leading and developing a team of commercial Account Executives Driving growth, retention, and portfolio performance across the segment Overseeing the full renewal and stewardship process with discipline and consistency Engaging directly with clients, prospects, and carrier partners when the situation calls for it Collaborating across functions to deliver on broader business goals Monitoring team performance metrics and coaching to continuous improvement Staying active in regional carrier networks and industry associations
What You Bring 5+ years in commercial lines with 3–5 years leading a team Level 3 General Insurance License; CAIB, CIP, CRM, or FCIP an asset A genuine track record of developing talent and holding teams accountable Deep knowledge of the commercial marketplace and how to guide AEs on strategy, marketing, and retention An entrepreneurial mindset
