SRS Equipment brought Komptech to North America in 2001 and has spent 25 years putting shredding, screening, and separation equipment to work across Canada. More than 80 machines are placed, with most of the country's major waste and recycling operators as customers. We carry four manufacturer lines covering mobile shredders, trommels, stationary screening, separation, and sorting systems, and we back every machine with our own service team. The business is established and growing, and we're adding a dedicated salesperson to take our newest lines to market. This is the right role for someone who wants a proven product behind them, a real install base to reference, and the kind of capital equipment deals that take months to close but compound into relationships that last decades.
What you'll do
You'll prospect, qualify, demo, and close capital equipment sales into waste, recycling, composting, organics, and aggregates ope rations across Ontario and Western Canada. Deals are won on relationships and trust, not price. You'll work alongside a Director of Sales who has sold this equipment for twenty years and a service team that keeps customers for the long haul. You'll run your pipeline in HubSpot with a clear activity model, and marketing will feed you researched target lists so your time goes into conversations, not list-building.
whom we're looking for
A real hunter with a track record of generating net new business, rather than someone managing an inherited book of accounts. You should be comfortable spending time in yards, transfer stations, and plants, talking to operators and owners alike. Ideally, you bring experience selling capital equipment or another long-cycle, high-ticket product, and you're disciplined when it comes to CRM and process. You'll also need to be coachable on the product side—we'll train you on the equipment, while you bring the sales motion. Finally, this role is best suited to someone based in Southern Ontario who's willing to be on the road about a third of the time.
