Sales Development Representative - Freelance
About the role
Summary Datastarter is an Analytics as a Service company. We act as the dedicated analytics team for web and media agencies, white-labeled under their brand. We handle the tracking, monitoring, reporting, and analysis. They take the credit with their clients. We are growing and looking for a freelance SDR to help us book discovery calls with the right agencies. We're looking for more than someone to execute a script: ideally, a lead generation partner who can own the prospection function and grow with us over time.
Your job Your focus is outbound prospection via cold email and calls. You will identify web and media agencies in Canada and the US, reach out on our behalf, and book discovery calls.
Who you are reaching out to: Web and media agencies 10 to 50 employees Based in Canada or the United States No dedicated analytics person in-house
What we provide: A detailed offer document explaining the service, the pitch, and how to handle objections Email and call scripts, messaging guidance Clear ICP (ideal customer profile) so you know exactly who to target
What we expect: Outbound cold email and cold call prospection (volume + quality) Weekly report on outreach activity and results Handoff of interested leads with context for the discovery call
Compensation Freelance contrat from $25 to $50 hourly Base retainer (flat monthly fee) + commission per qualified booked call Details to be discussed based on experience and proposed approach
