Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Sales Manager– Tissue Products (Canada) at Pals International.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for expanding our presence in the Canadian tissue market by developing new business opportunities and managing strategic customer relationships. This role focuses on driving growth across the toilet paper, kitchen towel, facial tissue, and napkin categories by connecting global manufacturing partners with Canadian converters, distributors, retailers, and wholesale customers.
Responsibilities
Develop and grow Pals International’s customer base in the Canadian tissue market. Identify new business opportunities across toilet paper, kitchen towel, facial tissue, napkins, and jumbo parent rolls. Build and maintain strong relationships with converters, distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and key industry partners. Execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share. Monitor market trends, pricing, supply dynamics, and competitor activity. Collaborate closely with international suppliers and internal teams including logistics, finance, and operations. Lead commercial negotiations and close long-term supply agreements. Represent Pals International at industry events and trade shows when appropriate.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 7–10+ years of experience in tissue products, paper converting, or related paper industry sales. Strong understanding of the Canadian tissue market, customer landscape, and distribution channels. Existing relationships with converters, distributors, retailers, or major tissue buyers are highly preferred. Proven track record of developing new business and growing strategic accounts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
