Job Title: Employer Engagement Specialist

Responsibilities
SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
This position plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth connections of employers into the EmployNext Service Provider ecosystem. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around connecting with local employers and collaboration with the Service Provider network to improve jobseeker employed outcomes. This role will focus on developing strong employer connections, educating employers about and registering them with EmployNext and seamlessly transferring relationships to the network.
Key Responsibilities
Develop partnerships with local businesses to support job seekers and act as the primary point of contact for EmployNext employer needs. Help employers understand the benefits of using the employer platform and encourage them to use the platform for their recruitment purposes. Lead employers through the EmployNext employer registration process. Attend virtual or in person community and local chamber events to make connections with employers. Collaborate with employers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their goals. Support facilitating trainings for employers. Support in coordinating and facilitating an Employer Advisory Table, focusing on identifying challenges faced by employers and collaboratively working towards effective resolutions. Research industry trends, labour market demands and in demand skills. Study labour market statistics, such as unemployment rates, job vacancy trends and sector specific trends. Coordinate with marketing team to prepare materials, such as slide decks, flyers QR codes and other promotional materials to employers, and share with Service Providers. Maintain thorough records of activities and progress throughout engagement with employers through our customer relationship management (CRM) system. Other related duties relevant to this position as may be required. Comply with all regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to the operations including occupational health and safety, environmental, drug and alcohol, and quality.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
EDUCATION And CERTIFICATIONS
College Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
KNOWLEDGE and EXPERENCE
3 years of employer relations, sales and marketing or related experience.
SKILLS And COMPETENCIES (Interpersonal Communication, Financial, Managerial, Problem Solving)
Proven experience in employer engagement, preferably within the employment services sector. Sales and marketing experience proven to improve education on specific topics and overall outcomes. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse collaborators, including dealing with employers, clients, subcontractors and all levels of Serco staff. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Proven problem-solving and computer skills.

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of the posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple provinces, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities.
