About the role
What You'll Do: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Engineer to join the team at Canarm HVAC. This role is essential in driving sales growth, focusing on engaging prospective clients and promoting Canarm HVAC products. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping a high-impact sales strategy and accelerating the expansion of our market presence. The successful candidate’s home location will determine the sales territory.
Driving Responsibilities: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach Review drawings and specifications plus meet with client’s/contractor’s engineering teams to define scope and requirements Translate the technical capabilities of Canarm products to demonstrate how we can meet client needs Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations Negotiate and close contracts Stay up to date on industry trends and new technologies Relay client feedback to the Engineering team to aid in continuous improvement efforts Work closely with New Product Development team to share insights, market knowledge and support innovation Attend industry trade shows and events to represent Canarm and support dealer participation Prepare monthly sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory plans
What You Bring: Engineering designation Minimum 3 years of sales or territory management experience in the HVAC industry required Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets In-depth technical understanding of HVAC products Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams related to HVAC systems Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel extensively within select region Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
Join a Team That Moves HVAC Forward: Salary range: $90,000-$125,000. Actual base pay offered will vary based on market location and candidate’s experience and education. Participation in the Sales Incentive Plan.
